BLP (Northern) Ltd is a leader in providing high-quality printed packaging solutions to a diverse range of clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales and Account Manager to drive sales growth, nurture client relationships, and manage key accounts. This role is crucial for expanding our customer base and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business and grow existing client accounts in the printed packaging sector.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring client needs are met, and providing ongoing support and consultation.
- Identify and target new market opportunities, driving sales through proactive lead generation, networking, and industry research.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production and customer service, to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to stay ahead of market developments and identify areas for growth.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients, balancing profitability with customer satisfaction.
- Track sales performance, ensuring that targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to senior management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to build relationships and promote the company’s products and services.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and account status using CRM systems.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Proven experience in a sales or account management role, ideally within the printed packaging or manufacturing industry.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to track performance and manage accounts.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, production processes, and industry trends is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams to deliver excellent service and results.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the printed packaging industry or similar manufacturing sectors.
- Familiarity with Tharstern MIS and/or HubSpot CRM, or other packaging industry-specific systems is advantageous.
- Ability to identify and act on new business opportunities in a competitive market.
